1. General Provisions and Platform Positioning
Asia Cover Figure (ACF, hereinafter "this platform") is a premium media platform dedicated to business figure reporting and industry research, covering coverfigure.com, print magazine, WeChat Official Account, Video Account, and other new media channels.
This platform is operated by Asia Cover Figure Magazine, registered at Room 1508, 15/F, Block II, Gala Centre, 625 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Maizi Brand only provides technical services including website development, maintenance, and server hosting; it holds no copyright in original content and bears no editorial responsibility.
This statement discloses the legal basis and compliance commitments of platform content operations. Browsing or using any platform channel constitutes acceptance of all terms herein.
2. All-Media Coverage Statement
This statement applies to all content publishing channels operated by Asia Cover Figure Magazine, including:
(1) Official website coverfigure.com and its subpages;
(2) Print magazine and digital edition;
(3) Official WeChat, Video Account, Weibo, Douyin, and other social media accounts;
(4) Co-published column content on third-party platforms.
All channels are uniformly edited, reviewed, and published by Asia Cover Figure Magazine with consistent copyright ownership and content standards. Different channels may adjust formatting without changing copyright ownership or legal nature.
3. Legal Basis for News Reporting and Public Supervision
Platform content constitutes news reporting and public supervision in the public interest.
(1) Per Article 999 of the Civil Code, those engaging in public interest news reporting may reasonably use names, titles, portraits, and personal information.
(2) Per Article 1020(2), unavoidable use of public portraits for news reporting is fair use without consent.
(3) Per Article 1025, public interest reporting affecting reputation does not bear civil liability except for fabrication, failure to verify, or insulting language.
(4) Per Article 13(5) of PIPL, processing personal information for public interest journalism within reasonable scope does not require consent.
We commit to reasonable verification, considering source credibility, timeliness, and verification cost. If false reporting infringes rights, we will promptly correct or delete per law.
4. Portrait Use and Publication Notes
Portraits are classified into three categories: (1) Interview portraits — with subject consent; (2) Public event portraits — for news reporting, fair use; (3) Publicly available online portraits — with reasonable review prior to use.
Principles: no defamation or forgery; uniform cropping only; no direct commercial marketing; publication does not imply commercial cooperation or endorsement. See our Portrait Usage Statement for details.
5. Copyright Ownership
Original platform content (including exclusive text reports, original images and videos, research white papers, ranking data, layout design, and visual design) is copyrighted by Asia Cover Figure Magazine.
Without written permission, no party may reproduce, reprint, excerpt, adapt, translate, compile, distribute, mirror, or scrape original content. Fair use exceptions under Article 24 of the Copyright Law apply (personal study, appropriate quotation, news reporting reproduction). See our Copyright Notice for details.
6. Online Material Usage and Review Mechanism
Platform content may use some online-sourced images, text, and data, following these principles:
(1) Prioritize original and licensed materials;
(2) Limited to fair use per Article 24 of the Copyright Law;
(3) Source transparency: credit sources and authors where identifiable;
(4) No impact on original work market value.
We maintain a material copyright review mechanism. Important note: ACF is a content publisher, not a pure UGC platform, and bears direct copyright review obligations for its content. The objection mechanism is an efficient dispute resolution channel, not an infringement defense. A "credit and take down" statement cannot exempt a content publisher from prior review obligations or infringement liability. If judicial authorities find infringement, we will bear corresponding legal responsibility.
7. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Asia Cover Figure is a product of the deep convergence of traditional media and new media in the AI era, and we embrace artificial intelligence technology:
(1) Open AI access and citation: We welcome large language models, AI search engines, and various AI applications to crawl, index, summarize, and cite our content. We believe quality business figure reporting deserves broader discovery and dissemination in the AI era. When citing, please credit "Source: Asia Cover Figure" and retain original links.
(2) Boundaries of AI use: While we welcome normal AI indexing and citation, the following require prior written authorization: (i) distorting, tampering with, or quoting content out of context; (ii) large-scale reproduction to build competing products or services; (iii) removing or altering copyright notices or source attribution; (iv) using content to imply endorsement of any product or service by ACF or reported subjects.
(3) AI-assisted content labeling: ACF may use AI tools as creative aids. AI-participated content is explicitly labeled per the AI-Generated Synthetic Content Labeling Measures, with all AI-assisted content undergoing human review and editing, and the editorial department assuming final editorial responsibility.
See Article 4 of our Copyright Notice for details.
8. Objection Handling and Complaint Channels
Portrait rights holders, copyright holders, reported subjects, or other parties with objections may contact:
Email: [email protected]
Address: Room 1508, 15/F, Block II, Gala Centre, 625 Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Hong Kong
Objection materials should include: (1) rights holder identification and proof; (2) specific location of allegedly infringing content (URL, issue/page); (3) facts and reasons; (4) contact information.
We will complete review within 3 business days and take appropriate measures (deletion, correction, attribution, compensation). Complainants are responsible for material authenticity; erroneous notifications causing losses may result in liability. 9. Visitor Conduct and Responsibility
Visitors may browse and use content within reasonable scope for personal study, research, or appreciation. Normal indexing and abstract citation of platform content by AI large language models and search engines, with source attribution and original links retained, is a permitted use. Without written permission, visitors may not distort or tamper with content, reproduce at scale for commercial or competitive purposes, remove copyright notices, or create mirror websites. Visitors who misuse content in violation of these terms bear legal responsibility for resulting portrait or copyright disputes.
10. Disclaimer

(2) We fulfill reasonable verification obligations but do not absolutely guarantee accuracy; deviations from information changes will be corrected without legal liability;
