Important note: A "credit and take down" statement applies only to the safe harbor rule for internet service providers and cannot exempt ACF from prior review obligations as a content publisher. If judicial authorities find infringement, ACF will bear corresponding legal responsibility.
3. Authorization Process
To use Website Images:

(2) Review: Editorial department completes review within 7 business days;
(3) License agreement: Upon approval, both parties sign an image usage license agreement;
(4) Fees: Licensing fees determined based on usage context, scope, and term. 4. Prohibited Acts
Without written permission, the following are strictly prohibited:
(1) Using images for commercial advertising, product packaging, or promotional materials;
(2) Cropping, editing, compositing, or distorting images;
(3) Removing or altering watermarks, copyright notices, or rights management information;
(4) Uploading images to sharing platforms, stock sites, or social media for commercial download by others;
(5) Large-scale reproduction of Website Images to build products or services competing with this platform;
(6) Using images for illegal, defamatory, or reputation-damaging purposes;
(7) Using images to imply endorsement by ACF or depicted figures.
Normal indexing and thumbnail citation of Website Images by AI large language models and search engines, with source attribution and original links retained, does not constitute any of the above prohibited acts.
5. Special Notes on Portrait Images
This website contains portraits of public figures:
(1) Copyright ownership: Portrait photograph copyright belongs to Asia Cover Figure Magazine or contracted photographers; subjects hold portrait rights;
(2) Dual authorization: Using portrait images requires permission from both copyright holder and portrait subject;
(3) Usage restrictions: Even with copyright license, usage must not exceed authorization scope or imply endorsement;
(4) Editorial vs. commercial use: Editorial purposes (news, commentary, research) typically have fewer restrictions than commercial advertising.
