Asia Cover Figure (ACF) is a premium business figure media platform based in Asia with global coverage, published by Asia Cover Figure Magazine and managed by Maizi Brand. We uphold the philosophy of "Influencing Those Who Influence," focusing on in-depth reporting, thought dissemination, and personal brand influence building for global business leaders.
2. Legal Basis for News Reporting and Public Supervision
The industry figure reports, research, and enterprise case analyses published by ACF constitute news reporting and public supervision conducted in the public interest. We conduct our reporting based on the following legal provisions:
(1) Article 999 of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China: A person who engages in news reporting, public supervision, or other acts in the public interest may reasonably use the name, title, portrait, personal information, etc. of a civil subject.
(2) Article 1020(2) of the Civil Code: For the purpose of news reporting, the unavoidable production, use, or disclosure of a portrait subject's portrait may be conducted without the portrait subject's consent.
(3) Article 1025 of the Civil Code: An actor who engages in news reporting or public supervision in the public interest and thereby affects another person's reputation shall not bear civil liability, except in cases of fabrication or distortion of facts, failure to fulfill reasonable verification obligations, or use of insulting language.
(4) Article 13(5) of the Personal Information Protection Law: Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for news reporting or public supervision in the public interest does not require individual consent.
3. Editorial Independence
The ACF Editorial Department operates independently. All editorial decisions are made autonomously by the Editorial Board, free from any commercial interests, advertisers, or external influence. Our reporting is based on public interest and news value judgment, not commercial considerations. Figure inclusion criteria are entirely based on their industry influence, innovative contributions, and social responsibility performance.
4. Figure Selection Criteria
All figures documented and compiled by ACF are public figures in their respective fields, including but not limited to: founders/CEOs of listed companies, industry-leading entrepreneurs, and business leaders with significant social influence. Selection is based on: (1) Industry influence and market share; (2) Business innovation and model breakthroughs; (3) Social responsibility and public contribution; (4) Shaping effect on Asian and global business landscape. ACF's documentation and compilation of figures does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of their business conduct.
5. Content Sources and Reasonable Verification Obligations
ACF content sources include: original in-depth interviews, public information compilation (corporate annual reports, public speeches, authoritative media reports), and industry research and data analysis.
We are committed to fulfilling reasonable verification obligations for our reporting. In accordance with Article 1026 of the Civil Code, we comprehensively consider the following factors when verifying content: (1) credibility of the content source; (2) timeliness of the content; (3) relevance of the content to public order and good morals; (4) verification capability and cost; (5) likelihood of damage to the subject's reputation; (6) differences in verification capability and cost. All published content is reviewed by the Editorial Board to ensure reporting is truthful, objective, and fair.
6. Correction and Complaint Mechanism
