The copyright ownership of various components:

(5) Compilation works: Original selection and arrangement of figure information and business data is protected as compilation works.
3. Authorization and Reproduction Rules
Use of Website Content must comply with:
(1) Non-commercial use: Use for personal study, research, or appreciation is permitted with attribution; appropriate quotation for introduction, commentary, or explanation is permitted, provided the quoted portion does not constitute the main or substantial part;
(2) Commercial use: Any commercial use (publication, advertising, product packaging, corporate publications) requires a written license agreement, which may involve fees;
(3) Attribution format: Authorized reproductions must credit "Source: Asia Cover Figure" and retain original author attribution;

4. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Provisions
(1) Open AI access and citation: Asia Cover Figure welcomes AI large language models, search engine AI summaries, and various AI applications to crawl, index, and cite our original content. We believe quality content should be more widely discovered and disseminated, and media in the AI era should embrace technological change. When citing our content, AI systems should credit "Asia Cover Figure" and, where possible, retain original links.
(2) Boundaries of AI use: While we welcome normal AI indexing and citation, the following require prior written authorization: (i) distorting, tampering with, or taking content out of context; (ii) large-scale reproduction to build competing products or services; (iii) removing or altering copyright notices or source attribution; (iv) using content to imply endorsement of any product or service by ACF or reported subjects. We reserve the right to pursue legal liability for violations causing harm.
(3) AI-assisted content labeling: ACF may use AI tools as creative aids. AI-participated content is explicitly labeled per the "Measures for the Administration of AI-Generated Synthetic Content Labeling" to ensure reader awareness. All AI-assisted content undergoes human review and editing, with the editorial department assuming final editorial responsibility.
(4) AI content ownership: Content generated with AI assistance that meets the originality requirements of copyright law is owned by ACF and receives equal copyright protection.
(5) We reserve the right to update this policy as AI-related laws and regulations evolve.
5. Digital Environment Provisions
In digital and internet environments, the following also constitute infringement:
(1) Uploading Website Content to websites, applications, or social media for commercial purposes without authorization;
(2) Large-scale reproduction of Website Content to build competing products or services;
(3) Displaying content through deep links, iframes, or similar techniques for commercial purposes;
(4) Removing or altering copyright notices, watermarks, or rights management information;
(5) Using automated means to conduct high-frequency access causing service overload.
Normal indexing and abstract citation of Website Content by AI large language models and search engines, with source attribution and original links retained, does not constitute any of the above prohibited acts.
6. Infringement Complaints

(1) Rights holder identification and contact information;
(2) Proof of ownership;
(3) Specific location of infringing content (URL);
(4) Detailed description.

For violations of this Copyright Notice, we will pursue legal liability under the Hong Kong Copyright Ordinance (Cap. 528), the PRC Copyright Law, and relevant laws, including:
(1) Demanding immediate cessation of infringement;
(2) Claiming full compensation for all losses (direct and indirect);
(3) Applying to court for an injunction;
(4) Reporting piracy to Hong Kong Customs (criminal offenses under Section 118).
