In Suzhou Industrial Park, the core hub of the China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone, amid this innovation hotspot gathering biomedicine, nanotechnology, AI, and other frontier industries, one enterprise — Jiangsu Zhongqixin Aerospace Technology Group — is redefining the city's industrial skyline in a different dimension: not building taller buildings upward, but letting aircraft truly take to the low skies.
The person behind this is Zhang Luokang — an entrepreneur who completed a remarkable leap from supply chain technology to the low-altitude economy track in just three years. His Zhongqixin Group, with 20 million yuan registered capital, has already built a complete industrial chain in low-altitude economy covering hardware manufacturing, software platforms, and service ecosystems. When "low-altitude economy" was first written into the 2024 Government Work Report as the starting signal for a trillion-yuan track, Zhang Luokang and his team had already covered considerable distance on this runway.
From Ground to Sky: An Entrepreneur's Track Transition
Zhang Luokang's business story did not begin in aerospace. In January 2023, he registered Rongqitong (Jiangsu) Technology Co., Ltd. in Suzhou Industrial Park — the predecessor of Zhongqixin Group. At that time, the company's business direction was supply chain technology. Simultaneously, he participated in establishing Jiangsu Zhantuo International Supply Chain Technology, entering international trade and supply chain management.
This experience was no detour. Supply chain technology work gave Zhang Luokang deep understanding of a core logic: future industrial competition is no longer about single products or technologies, but industrial chain ecosystem competition. He later repeatedly emphasized "ecosystem" in interviews — precisely the extension and elevation of supply chain thinking into the low-altitude economy domain.
2024 was the pivotal turning point in Zhang Luokang's business landscape. This year, he intensively established investment management companies and flight service enterprises, rapidly building the Zhongqixin Group's organizational framework. The group officially focuses on low-altitude economy, covering UAV R&D and manufacturing, low-altitude flight service platforms, and aerial application services.
When most players were still cautiously testing the low-altitude economy, Zhang Luokang had already completed a full-chain layout — from hardware manufacturing to software platforms to service ecosystems. This supply-chain-thinking-derived ecosystem construction capability became Zhongqixin's core competitive advantage in this emerging track.
